Project Manager – Solutioning Lead

Our team is responsible for ensuring that we continue to deliver for our current shared services customers and extend penetration further as well as drive innovation and efficiencies, creating a commercial Vodafone Shared Services (VSS) centre that is recognised as best in class.

In this role you will engage with potential business partners (based on leads/opportunities identified by the account management teams) and manage the qualification and solution development of given opportunities until approval.

You will ensure that the solutions developed will bring the best value for Vodafone while providing guidance to the business opportunity management team based on experience with the functions/verticals covered by the role.

What you will do:

  • Lead the definition of solutions and commercial proposals to VSS business partners (all local markets, partner markets, external partners)  in order for Shared Services to reach its target to increase Vodafone’s incremental value

  • Develop the business cases for any new be-spoke and complex opportunity coming to VSS including its budgeting and financial planning

  • Take a significant part in Vodafone’s Digital agenda by supporting automation and robotics (RPA) opportunities as well

  • Demonstrate creativity and innovation in the development and implementation of customer solutions in order to bring additional value to Vodafone and increase Partner satisfaction

  • Challenge business requirements if necessary and decide if the final solution is viable and beneficial to be realised

  • Coordinate with the local teams and functions to gather the local inputs necessary to a solution

  • Coordinate the response to requisitions across the team, VSS Service Delivery and Support functions

Join us if you have:

  • 4+ years of experience gained in opportunity management/project management or similar field

  • Strong commercial acumen and experience in a Shared Services / BPO environment which includes solution definition and commercial proposal/business case management/budgeting

  • Fluency in English (both spoken and written)

  • University/college degree in Economics, MBA is an advantage

  • Ability to provide leadership,  clarity, and purpose on complex commercial opportunities and to develop a specific domain knowledge in order to develop valuable solutions to our partners

  • Very good influencing and communication skills and ability to operate at a senior level

  • Proven ability to work with teams across multiple locations

  • Availability for occasional travels globally
