The Enterprise Profitability team (within Business Intelligence department) supports Vodafone Global Enterprise management with customer and product level EBITDA calculations across multiple Vodafone Operating Companies. Key part of our job is to consolidate the relevant information such as revenue and direct costs in our database, and perform Operating Expenses allocation to customer and product level. We share our results through world class data visualization tools like QlikView and QlikSense.
What you will do:
Identify potential areas of improvements in data processing, and the work together with technical team members in order to automate and migrate tasks from Excel spreadsheets to SQL platform.
Understand the impact of OpEx allocation on customer/product profitability
Manage data consolidation and data validation processes
Create ad hoc reports of cost drivers, cost centre cost upon request
Maintain data hierarchy within different systems (on customer and product level)
Ensure logical mapping among business units and segments
Gather cost driver file inputs from Vodafone Operating Companies, process input files in order to assure data quality and provide the right format for cost allocation software.
This position is for you if you have:
University / College degree in Economics
3-5 years of reporting background and experience with database management
Financial understanding
Fluency in English
Strong VBA and at least basic SQL knowledge, familiarity with Excel Power Query, Power Pivot, Tableau considered as great advantage
Analytical mind-set
Good communication skills, ability to negotiate with senior stakeholders
